"Second Saturday Ballroom Dance" on Sept. 11th
Attend the premier of our "Second Saturday Ballroom Dance" on Sept. 11, 2010 at Swingsation's 14th Ave. Dance Studio in Vero Beach. Hosted by Joe Wynes, this will be the first of regular ballroom dances that will be held on the second Saturday night of every month at this studio. The DJ playlist includes the BEST mix of ballroom, swing and Latin music for dancing. On this night, an introductory lesson in the Waltz will be presented from 7:15 to 8:00 PM. Social dancing after the lesson will continue until 10:30 PM. The admission cost of $10 per person includes a complimentary beverage and sandwich choice. Reservations are suggested but not required. Doors will open at 7:00 PM. Recommended attire is dressy-smart. Single and beginner dancers are welcome. This is a smoke and alcohol free event. Friday Night Social Dances return - Sebastian Community Center
Regular Friday Night Social Dances at the Sebastian Community Center will start on October 1, 2010. DJ and host Joe Wynes creates a playlist mix of the BEST in ballroom, swing and Latin music for your dancing and listening pleasure. A short beginner lesson in swing from 7:15 to 8 PM starts off the night. Social dancing after the lesson will continue until 10:30 PM. The admission cost of $10 per person includes a complimentary beverage and sandwich choice. Reservations are not required. Tables for 6 or more persons may be reserved. Doors will open at 7:00 PM. Recommended attire is dressy-smart. Single and beginner dancers are welcome. A "singles table" will be available. There will be dance hosts on duty and mixer dances will be included on the evening's playlist. This is a smoke and alcohol free event.
